It's a common problem for many people. The sun shines onto your windows all day creating a greenhouse effect, and no matter what you try, it's the next morning before your home has cooled down. You could try air conditioning, but it's expensive to buy and fit, costly to run and bad for the environment.

Sola Star is a breath of fresh air for your home. It uses the power of the sun to draw the hot air out of your house and create a flow of cooler air coming in. The super-efficient , single-cell photovoltaic panel drives the powerful whisper-quiet extraction fan to a rate of up to 360 litres of air per second.

The fan can be connected to up to four individual ceiling valves that can be positioned in the areas of your home from which you want to remove the hot, stale air. And the advantage of using solar power to drive the fan is that the hotter and brighter the sun, the harder Sola Star works.

Unfortunately, the very efficient insulation in your attic, designed to keep the heat in during the cold months, also keeps in the heat during the summer. That heat cannot escape so it builds up in the house creating a green-house like atmosphere.

Sola Star works by extracting the hot air at ceiling level and as it does so, cooler, fresher air is drawn in through openings lower in the house (such as trickle vents in windows) - creating a flow of fresh air throughout your entire home.
